Tandis que le Maire de New York, Michael Bloomberg, vient de se lancer dans un plan de remplacement des taxis jaunes par des taxis verts (qui seront quand même jaunes) au rythme de 20% par an (je vous laisse calculer en quelle année NY aura 100% de taxis verts) il a été devancé par une nouvelle race de taxis qui ne consomment que de la puissance musculaire et que l’on voit apparaître dans plusieurs quartiers de Manhattan. Pendant ce temps la Chine abandonne ce mode de transport pour se convertir à la voiture provoquant ainsi à Pékin des embouteillages monstrueux et une énorme pollution qui va relayer celle des Etats-unis.
Comme j’étais à NY j’en ai profité pour aller voir l’exposition de Richard Serra qui se termine la semaine prochaine. La salle du second est très impressionnante.

While the Mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg, has just embarked on a plan to replace yellow taxis with green taxis (which will still be yellow) at a rate of 20% per year (I let you calculate in which year NY will have 100% green taxis) it was preceded by a new breed of taxis that consume only muscular power and that we see appear in several neighborhoods of Manhattan. Meanwhile China is abandoning this mode of transportation to convert to the car causing Beijing to traffic and monstrous enormous pollution that will relay that of the United States.
As I was in NY I took the opportunity to see Richard Serra’s exhibition which ends next week. The second room is very impressive.
